Quadrat

Named after the frame used in ecology to isolate a unit of area for study of the distribution of an item over a large area, Quadrat is a custom abstract geometric display typeface.

Its modular construction is reminiscent of late 20th-century experimental type, with sweeping curved elements breaking up the square modules, creating rhythmic patterns and reflectional symmetry.

Completed with all lowercase alternates, automatic ligatures and matching symbols.

cassa

Conceptual brand using Quadrat as the centrepiece.

Meaning ‘case’ or ‘trunk’ in Italian, cassa is a modern brand for a moving company.

The framing boxes in the logo are a nod to stacked moving packages and the architecture of the properties themselves. This 'bricks and mortar' theme is reflected in the earthy, brick-toned colour palette.
